Coach Your Sides

I recently took the time, for possibly the first time in my acting career, to seriously coach not only my music, but my SIDES. You know, those pesky things you get that seem like an after thought to your audition. . . after you sing your own stuff and whatever else you’ve been asked to sing.

Let’s just say it was awesome.

Garrett Elise Long, a star of Broadway and friend of mine, coaches for super reasonable rates. $40/hr! And we could have spent FAR more time going over what I thought would take 20 minutes. It was two pages of scenework and we delved into it. I went into that audition feeling like I had options, an arsenal of options! I actually cannot wait for my next audition to be able to work with Garrett again.

Look into it, guys. Would I lie to you?

Joe Iconis

I love that I know who Joe Iconis is. Do you know who he is? He’s a fantastic writer of fantastic music. I’m going to his show TONIGHT at 54 Below and I could not be more excited about that.

Happy Cinco de Mayo to me!

People You May Know Review

A great review of “People You May Know, 4.0” on the Times Square Chronicle!

“What a great idea. Chose three new or emerging composers, ask them which composers most influenced them, and then perform their music side-by-side with the works of the composers who inspired them.” Read the full review…
